About Us

Relucent Plastics Solutions was founded in 1993 as Magnum Plastics. Originally formed to service medical device startups, Magnum recognized the need to provide engineering and program management services to these small companies when larger medical molders would not. As Magnum matured and grew, so did our capabilities and services which helped us expand beyond medical molding into different markets including electronics, food processing, business equipment and energy.

In 2018 MHI Corporation (MHI), the US subsidiary of Kyoto-based Maruho Hatsujyo Kogyo (MHK), acquired Magnum Plastics which is now known as Relucent Plastic Solutions. MHK is a leading Japanese healthcare company with global sales exceeding $800 million.

Today, Relucent Plastics Solutions operates a 32,000 square foot facility, offers core competencies in High Heat Polymer Processing, Insert Molding, Clean Room Molding, In House Tooling and Custom Assembly.
