About RElucent plastics
Relucent Plastics Solutions was originally founded in 1993 as Magnum Plastics, with a mission to support medical device startups. Recognizing the need for specialized engineering and program management services, Magnum dedicated itself to serving smaller companies that were often overlooked by larger medical molders.
In 2018, MHI Corporation (MHI), the US subsidiary of the Kyoto-based Maruho Hatsujyo Kogyo (MHK), acquired Magnum Plastics, rebranding it as Relucent Plastics Solutions. MHK is a leading Japanese healthcare company with global sales exceeding $800 million.
Today, Relucent Plastics Solutions operates from a state-of-the-art 32,000 square foot facility in Erie, CO. Our core competencies include High Heat Polymer Processing, Insert Molding, Clean Room Molding, In-House Tooling, and Custom Assembly, enabling us to deliver superior solutions to our clients.
